I understand all payments to HBCU Cruise Experience are non-refundable and non-transferable. I further acknowledge that I have been advised to purchase travel insurance to protect my investment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE 2026
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION – All guests are responsible to obtain the correct travel documentation (passport or government identification) to board the ship and for the destination to be visited.
TRAVEL INSURANCE – All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable; therefore, it is recommended for guests to purchase independent travel insurance or Norwegian Cruise Line travel insurance which helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Medical Expenses and more prior to sailing or during the cruise to cover an unforeseen circumstance. We recommend travel insurance to be purchased on the same day as your first deposit is paid to ensure full coverage from my initial payment.
PAYMENTS – Reservations can be made online with major credit cards. Failure to submit deposits on a timely basis can cause your reservation to be canceled. If a monthly payment is missed, your reservation can be subject to cancellation if THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE staff is not notified in writing one day beyond the monthly payment date.
PRICING: If the occupancy of your stateroom changes, the rate will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the current occupancy rate and you will be responsible for any changes in the rate. Package rates include only those items specifically identified in the cruise itinerary and will not include passport and visa fees, personal insurance, gratuities, optional tours, optional upgrades or any other personal items and expenses. If the foreign taxes or cruise fees change, guests will be notified, and any additional charges will be the responsibility of the guest.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents and travel instructions will be sent via email 30 days or earlier prior to travel.
RELEASE FROM LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY – THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE has designed this trip for your pleasure and enjoyment and has attempted to select for you the best vessel, accommodations, restaurants, attractions, tours, parties and transportation for the prices charged. However, THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE, its affiliates and its partners does not own or operate any of entities and assumes no responsibility for delays, losses, accidents or for damage to persons or property caused by any person, firm or corporation or other legal entity providing these services including: Norwegian Cruise Line, ground transportation (including but not limited to transfers and sightseeing), tour companies, or venues used for this trip. By utilizing the services of The HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE and its Providers, you agree that THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE, its affiliates and its partners shall not be responsible for any damages (including without limitation illness, bodily injury or death), losses, claims, demands, rights, actions, costs (including attorneys’ fees and court costs) and liabilities, of whatever kind or nature (collectively, “Liabilities”), attributable to (a) any Extraordinary Circumstances and any related travel restrictions, (b) any equipment failure or defect or (c) any fault or default of any Provider. THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE and its partners shall not be liable for any damage resulting directly or indirectly from delays, cancellation or changes in the itinerary. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable to alter any of the trip’s itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE or the applicable Providers, and any additional expenses shall be borne by the participants. You will not be eligible for any refund or credit based on any voluntary or involuntary absence from any part of the cruise experience.
PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE: THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE may take photographs or video of its trips and trip participants grant THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE permission to do so and for it to use same for promotional or commercial use without payment of any compensation to participant.
CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING OF THE CRUISE – In the case of the cruise cancellation or rescheduling, guests will receive the refund or credit distributed by Norwegian Cruise Line to THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE paid through the date of such suspension, less any unavoidable Provider fees and penalties. THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE takes no responsibility for ship substitutions or itinerary changes imposed by the cruise line and is not responsible for any losses you may incur including the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets.
The Terms & Conditions, the Release from Liability, Assumption of Risk and all stated clauses have been explained in their entirety, therefore, any guests making a payment for THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE, constitutes acceptance of THE HBCU CRUISE EXPERIENCE Terms & Conditions.
